Our Story: Why We Exist

Niko Kadi began with a simple, powerful belief: Africa deserves games that sound like us, feel like us, and celebrate our everyday magic.

For years, our shelves were filled with imported games. They were fun…..but they didn't speak our languages, share our humour, or echo the rhythm of our lives. A whole world of our stories was missing from game night.

So we built a new home for play, right here in Kenya.

Who We Are: Creators & Curators

We are Niko Kadi, a Kenyan-based game publisher and distributor dedicated entirely to African creativity. We have a dual mission:

  1. We Create. We design original games from the ground up, born from our own experiences and imagination.
  2. We Curate & Distribute. We actively seek out, partner with, and distribute brilliant games made by creators from across the African continent.

We are the bridge that connects African talent with a global audience. Whether it's a board game we designed in Nairobi, a card game from a creator in Ghana, or a family game from Nigeria, every title we share is chosen with one purpose: to put the rich tapestry of African stories on the global map through play.
